About the Program

The Master of Public Health Program of Pundra University of Science & Technology addresses the health needs of the ethnically and socioeconomically diverse populations living in Bangladesh, especially northern region of Bangladesh. The program accomplishes this through the evaluation of students to be effective practitioners of the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to effectively conduct public health need assessments, program planning, implementation and evaluation, and applied research to address the needs of our communities.

The program also emphasizes community service with the underserved populations by working closely with local communities and national agencies, as well as to develop professional opportunities for the students of Master of Public Health Program.

Admission Requirements
  • BPH/BPH in any discipline from any recognized University.
  • MBBS, BDS or equivalent degree from any Medical College or Institutes recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
  • B.Sc. in Nursing from any recognized Nursing College recognized by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Four years Honors degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent.
  • Five years (Arts)/three years (Social Science)/one year (Health Science) experience in healthcare system.
  • Equivalency will be decided by Equivalency Committee of Science Faculty.
  • Exemption/Relaxation of experience in some special cases can be considered by the Admission Committee.
